The Story
A special item created by Aaron Angell, founder of the Troy Town pottery, for Nepenthes London's pop-up with PAPIER LABO. The tray can be used to burn washikō incense safely and elegantly.
Originating in the 16th century, oribe stoneware is characterised by deformed, uneven shapes and freely applied glazes — a departure from the rakuyaki style that was prevalent at the time.
