Tricker’s, founded in 1829, is one of England’s longest established shoemakers, with an unparalleled reputation as the maker of choice for country shoes, and were awarded a Royal Warrant for their peerless quality. Five generations later, each shoe is still handmade by specialist craftsmen with years of training and dedication, performing over 250 different operations for every shoe.

Taking the iconic Bourton derby, Nepenthes have redesigned this classic country shoe using a mix of differently toned smooth leathers and suede; a simple but original twist.

The Bourton is a heavy-duty style bearing the unmistakable broguing detail typical of country shoes. The overall construction, perfected by Tricker’s, is left unchanged; a folded half-bellows tongue and storm welting provide watertight protection, and the lightweight ‘Moreflex’ sole by Vibram is attached with a Goodyear welt, allowing the shoes to be resoled for many years.
