Tyrolean Shoes – Black Suede

The heavy Norwegian welt construction matches the deep suede upper. The sole is made of VIBRAM sole and are manufactured in a highly skilled Italian factory.

Tyrolean shoes are originally leather shoes made with moccasin-stitched toes, the Norwegian manufacturing method, and rubber soles. They are said to have originated in Italy and central England from the traditional 'Tyrolean boots' of the Tyrol region, a part of the Alps that straddles Austria and Italy. Initially worn by Tyrolean aristocrats for hunting, they became popular due to their waterproof welt, natural leather upper, and grippy sole designed for high weather resistance and comfort, and became popular with a wide range of people in the 1950s.
